Barcelona Part 2 Prague Part 1

So last we posted we were about to see La Sagrada Familia. I posted those pics and we also saw a lot of buildings designed by Gaudi. We have been eating tapas all the time and I even ate calamari! The next day we took the metro to the Olympic village where we layed out on the beach for the majority of the time. I got semi burned :-( and Dylan got tan! From the beach we walked to the Picasso Museum where we saw a wonderful temporary exibit called Forgetting Velazquez. The next day we took our flight from Barcelona to Prague...and now...we are in Prague. Today was our first full day in Prague. Yesterday we got to our hotel which is really nice. The places we have been staying at have been getting better and better! There are really high ceilings and a big bathroom-only problem is the shower is one you have to hold to wash your hair. We went to dinner and walked around on Wenceslas Square making sure to keep in mind all the tips Marissa and Taylor gave us. That night we did a bar hop which we created based on suggestions in our book. The beer is really good here (Pilesner-light and dark) and we even were able to have a glass of original Budweiser. This morning Dylan worked a bit and I explored Wenceslas Square. Apparently today is the 40th anniversary of the day Russian tanks came and took over Wenceslas square. So there were lots of pictures and demonstrations and even tanks with guys dressed in Russian uniforms. In the afternoon, we grabbed some food. We tried the crepes Marissa recommended and I even had a potato pancake. We did a walking tour of Stare Mesto (Old Town) and the Jewish Quarter. We are now back in the hotel getting ready for dinner. Tonight we are going out to the club that Rhiana's music video (Please Don't Stop the Music) was filmed in! Hope everyone is doing well. Love, Dylan and Lauren
